\na un cocinero chino al que todo el mundillo llama \u201cJulio\u201d. En realidad, su
\nnombre es Yong Ping Zhang y evidentemente ante la dificultad, el p\u00fablico
\nmadrile\u00f1o ha optado por darle un nombre castizo mucho m\u00e1s sencillo (al igual
\nque ocurri\u00f3 con aquel jugador balc\u00e1nico llamado Hadzibegic al que la afici\u00f3n
\nsevillista rebautiz\u00f3 como \u201cPepe\u201d).<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
\nJulio se hizo
\nfamoso en un peque\u00f1o local llamado Soy Kitchen que se situaba en la plaza de
\nLos Montenses de Madrid. Cocina de dif\u00edcil encasillamiento y destellos de
\ngenialidad convirtieron aquel Soy Kitchen en un referente y a Julio en alguien
\na quien hab\u00eda que visitar. <\/span><\/div>\n
\nPero Julio fue
\nevolucionando y hace algo menos de un a\u00f1o decidi\u00f3 llevar su Soy Kitchen a la
\ncalle Zurbano con un concepto mucho m\u00e1s de alta cocina, dejando el tradicional
\nlocal de los Mostenses reconvertido en Lamian (nombre que se da en China al
\npopular ramen japon\u00e9s) del que pronto les hablar\u00e9.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nEl nuevo Soy
\nKitchen es un restaurante que sorprende por su buen gusto y elegancia desde que
\nentras en \u00e9l. Decorado con minuciosidad por el estudio Lavela de Sandra Vergara
\ny Raquel L\u00e1zaro ofrece una atm\u00f3sfera cosmopolita y moderna a la vez que
\nacogedora y confortable.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
\nInclasificable
\ny exc\u00e9ntrica (como el propio Julio), la cocina de Soy Kitchen sigue siendo convincente
\ny divertida. Uno de esos restaurantes en los que sobre todo disfrutas desde el
\nprincipio hasta el fin. Producto nacional que el propio Julio selecciona en los
\nmercados de La Latina, Chamart\u00edn y Ant\u00f3n Mart\u00edn y creaciones, complejas, casi
\nins\u00f3litas en las que hay siempre dos denominadores en com\u00fan: el juego de
\ntexturas, que consigue a base de t\u00e9cnica, y la intensidad y diversidad de
\nsabores que se sustentan en el uso de ahumados, macerados y salsas caseras cuya
\nreceta al completo solo conoce el propio Julio. El resultado es una
\nespectacular cocina de autor depurada al m\u00e1ximo con la que es imposible no sentirse
\ngratamente sorprendido.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nSoy Kitchen
\npresenta una propuesta basada en tres men\u00fas degustaci\u00f3n (uno corto a 45 \u20ac, uno
\nlargo por 65 \u20ac y un men\u00fa ejecutivo de lunes a jueves a mediod\u00eda por 35 \u20ac).
\nAdem\u00e1s, este a\u00f1o incorpora dos nuevos men\u00fas degustaci\u00f3n (uno 100% vegetariano y
\notro libre de gluten) y una carta de raciones para tomar en barra y en sala de
\nlunes a jueves tanto a mediod\u00eda como por la noche basada en los platos de
\ncuchara y guisos tradicionales de propios de esa cocina casera de las madres y abuelas,
\naunque con el sello inconfundible de su autor.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nOlv\u00eddense de
\nprejuicios, aband\u00f3nense en manos de este genio llamado Julio y sean felices (al
\nfin y al cabo, la gastronom\u00eda es la industria de la felicidad).<\/span><\/div>\n
